Item 47 - Marvel Studios    Lizzy Caplan, most recognizable for her work in “Mean Girls” and Starz’s critically acclaimed “Party Down”, will star in Marvel Studios’ newest short entitled Item 47.    This 12 minute short will appear on the DVD release of The Avengers on September 25, 2012.  Here, Caplan stars alongside Jesse Bradford (Flags of Our Fathers) as a couple living in New York who finds an alien weapon that was previously abandoned during an invasion of the city.  The two ultimately use the weapon for crime, and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents - played by Maximiliano Hernandez (Thor and The Avengers) and Titus Welliver (TV’s Lost) - attempt to stop them.
